Meet Dr. Danqing Hu, MD, PHD

Dr. Hu is our experienced dental anesthesiologist. She is double-board certified in both anesthesiology and pain medicine. She completed her Ph.D., anesthesia residency, and pain medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic, the No. 1 medical institution nationwide for 7 years in a row as ranked by U.S. News. Prior to joining the Supreme Dental Group, Dr. Hu served as an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Emory University Hospital, where she saved many lives of patients undergoing major surgery. Married to a dentist, Dr. Hu deeply understands the anxiety-provoking nature of dentistry. She aspires to maximize patients’ comfort while keeping them safe under anesthesia. Dr. Hu has extensive experience in dental anesthesia, from conscious sedation all the way to intubation general anesthesia. She is particularly specialized in providing anesthesia for patients with anxiety, sleep apnea, movement disorders, and developmental delay. Her unique expertise and cutting-edge tools enable her to find IVs in patients who are always a hard stick. Having dental anxiety about an upcoming procedure?
